Hello Meadows Maniacs.
The air has finally turned to fall and the leaves are falling just to mess with golfers trying to find their balls. But your place for fun, food, and friends is committed to keeping things rolling.
First, thank you. It’s Thanksgiving month so let me reiterate how thankful we are of your continued support. You make this all possible.
Second, we look forward to some of the updates to finish up the year […]

Ahhhh Fall Is Here! The crisp air in the morning, leaves coming down, and questions as to what my Halloween costume will be this year.
First and most important, THANK YOU to those of you who became new members and renewed memberships in September. We’re a bit ahead of last year and anticipate selling out our 2026 memberships earlier than last season.  We cap our memberships at 300 so make sure to […]

Did you see Paul’s Feature in GCM?
A legend grows in Maine – Paul Richmond’s unique background and hospitality generate a colorful atmosphere for crews at two Maine golf courses.
Read It Now!
When Paul Richmond entered the maintenance shop, others knew it right away. The harmonica gave it away.
“We’d hear it when we came into the shop,” says Charlie Fultz, a former Richmond colleague. “Biggest Bob Dylan fan on the planet.” Dylan is […]

Happy September!
Fleetwood wins the FedEx Cup, the Ryder Cup teams are announced, our club champions are crowned, and it’s ever so slowly cooling off. And… Golf at both of our clubs rolls onward.
In addition to an amazing time of year to play golf in Maine, a ton is still going on here.
From a gratitude perspective, our crew continues to make great progress on irrigation fixes, robot insight/tricks, keeping turf alive, and prepping for […]

Can you believe it’s the last month of summer?
Yeah, us neither. Soak it up and get those final rounds in—because somehow, we’re already halfway through the season!
Huge shoutout to our rockstar crew who keep everything running like a dream—whether it’s cooking up tasty dishes, rolling greens, or making sure your golf day is the best it can be. They’re the real MVPs.
Now, you may have noticed something missing on the […]

July is here!
The days are warmer, the evenings are longer, and life’s just better when you’re a golfer—even on those “character-building” scorecard days.
Huge thanks to our entire crew for all the incredible work lately. The greens are rolling beautifully, the robots are out in full force, and all kinds of upgrades and fixes are underway behind the scenes.
Shoutout to Andrew, Devin, and the whole pro shop team for keeping everything […]

Hi Meadow Maniacs.
Wow. What a start to the season. We had 9 weekends in a row with rain outs. Wow. But, the sun is starting to pop and the temps are climbing. Yeah!
The little orange friends are working and we’ll continue to tweak their usage. Overall, I hope you find the turf cut more frequently and the length is more consistent. Soon, the solar panels will have protection on them.
And […]

We are golfing…Finally!
If April showers bring May flowers, we’re going to have a spectacular May. I say we deserve it!
Super Paul has been working hard to get things rolling, and wow…We’re excited about how well most of the turf came through, how few tree issues/falls we had, and the overall decent drainage. Much of our team from last year is back again so say “Hi” to the gang or introduce […]

Hey Meadows Maniacs,
Howdy, Meadows’ Maniacs!
The sunny part of the day is getting longer, and that white stuff on the ground WILL go away eventually—we promise. We’re this close to kicking off golf season in earnest!
We’re excited to have Andrew back with us full-time and to have stolen Devin back from the pub (sorry, not sorry). You’ll recognize most of the friendly faces in the pro shop, cart crew, and grounds […]

Hey Meadows Maniacs,
Hope you’re as excited as I am that March is here, which means… GREEN! And not just for St. Patrick’s Day—green grass is coming. The pro tournaments are rolling along, with the southwest swing in the books and Florida heating up. That means The Masters is just around the corner. But let’s talk about what really matters—golf in Maine is almost here!
Opening Day March 17—No Matter the Weather!
Mark […]
