Say it isn’t so, tell me July is not over!

What a great month of golf and pub fun (except for having to cancel our Independence Day celebration for the second year in a row…booo!).

On the golf side, we have proudly hosted a number of tournaments with many raising funds for great causes. Our various leagues are in full swing. And we’ve welcomed a bunch of people to our beloved course, many for the first time. We want to send a special thank you to all of those that have coordinated tourneys, run leagues, and are ambassadors for our gem here in Litchfield.

We are also sending a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated to help Dana as he has a tough medical fight on his hands. He has been on our grounds crew for years and is a heckuva golfer. We’re already missing his prowess with a tractor and golfer eye on the crew.

In the pub, July has been equally busy. We continue to support Maine Paws for Vets and the Tacamo Lakes Association with pub events. We also just finished helping staff the Litchfield Ironman bike aid station #2. What fun to see these athletes zip by on their bikes.

Stay tuned for some insight on improvements to come by end of year. The pub, the sims/sim room, and the course are are likely to get some nice upgrades.
