Say it ain’t so… September is here?

First, congrats to the club champions that were just crowned for 2024. We know you will wear the badge of honor with dignity and pride as you represent our club’s finest. We had a beautiful couple of days and it seemed fun was had by all. Thanks to Paul and Andrew and their respective staff for a job well done.

Looking back on August briefly, we were pleased to host the Maine Golf Association’s Mixed Championship. We also received eight more carts that we’ll use for large volume days or bigger tourneys. This saves us money on the rental fleet carts we’ve needed to get on occasion. If you get one to use keep in mind they won’t have the GPS, BUT they do have some wicked comfy seats.

September is one of the best months to golf with the weather typically great. Darrick and I are excited to have our friend group/fellow owners here at the end of the month. We warn you, most of our golf games are quite bad so beware. We also have a few tourneys to look forward to and it is membership sign up time (this is the best deal we will offer, keep your eyes peeled for the deal coming soon). 

You are encouraged to send to me or write feedback on the club, course, staff, pub, etc. We’ll use that input as we plan the golf season for next year. Good, bad, and ugly… bring it on.
